Maintaining our licenses requires annual training on ethics, nontraditional mortgage products, State and Federal lending laws—including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act).
We jealously guard your data and privacy, as we’re legally required to do under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the FTC Safeguards Rule, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). But also because we feel a mortal duty to treat the information you entrust to us with the same care we’d want for our own.
And we don’t stop there. We’re students of our craft — guideline nerds who read mortgage rules for fun and meet daily to hash out lending strategies, leaving no stone unturned in our pursuit of the best loan option for every client.
